I’m instructor Cindy, and I’ll be your guide on this cultural journey!
I’m an avid traveler who’s passionate about exploring the beauty and complexity of world cultures—especially those rooted in Africa. My adventures around the globe have shown me just how many myths and misunderstandings people carry about African culture. That’s why I’m so excited to teach this course!
Throughout my educational journey, I helped lead programs that educated students and local communities about African traditions, history, and modern life. Today, I would like to use my experience and education, to continue to explore the intersection of culture, identity, and empowerment—both in healthcare and in the classroom.
