Rooted in a passion for education and a commitment to underserved communities, Gloria Alisyed-Lewis, Instructor – and CEO of Financially Taught, it is believed that financial literacy is the foundation for building the life you desire. The mission is to empower individuals, families and couples with the knowledge and tools needed to make confident, informed financial decisions. 

She has served in various areas of finance for over 25 years, all within non-profit institutions in the Tri-State area such as The Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, Bank Street College of Education, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and served as the Assistant Vice President of Budgeting & Financial Planning at both Drew and Seton Hall Universities.  Gloria holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting, is an IRS and New York State registered tax preparer and is a licensed Finance professional.
