Biography
Chantel Randle, born in Saint Paul, MN. She is a mother, writer, poet, event curator, speaker and author of Adjusting My Crown and The Light at the end of tunnel quote book. With her Masters in Social Work, Chantel has worked in the mental health field for over 6 years, with a focus on trauma, healing, spirituality, self-awareness and generational empowerment.
Chantel Randle, known by her stage name “Tella” has been performing spoken word in her hometown, and moved to Houston, Tx where she continues to perform poetry and music at showcases and open mic. These talents have taken her throughout Houston, and she performed at SWSX 2025 with Divine Sol Sundays. Tella has performed at Well known events and venues such as Write About Now Poetry on 03/25 (Tx), Province 8 Art Studio 01/25 & 02/25 (Tx), Artroom on 02/25 (Tx), Brunch & Baddies on 03/2025 (Tx), and 7th Entry in 02/2023 (MN).
Outside of her artistry, Chantel Randle is a Entrepreneur and Business owner of Tella Works. TellaWorks was founded in 2022, focused on healing circles, mental health/art classes and one-on-one mentorship programming. Tella Works provides a bridge between religion (Christianity) and non-religious spiritual practices (African/African American spiritual practices) to create holistic understanding and healing. The knowledge and insight that Tella Works provides is a divine collaboration of testimonies, experiences, mental health awareness/skills and spiritual practices to provide safe spaces for those growing in their walk with God and their spirituality. Through hands-on skills and coping techniques (art and expression) Tella Works teaches our community to release trauma and blockages in exchange for healing, self-love/self-awareness, becoming a better member of society and holistic wellness to help them become the change they want to see.Tella Works is merely a vessel and one-stop center for holistic support and transformation.
