📘 Course Description:
Parenting doesn’t come with a manual, but this course comes pretty close.
This 10-week, beginner-to-intermediate level course is designed to empower parents, caregivers, and anyone serving families to shift from chaos and confusion to calm, connected, and confident parenting.
Rooted in foundational psychology, CBT tools, and real-world strategies from the book Cognitive Behavior Therapy for the Busy Parent Companion Guide: From Tantrum to Triumphs, this course takes a supportive, trauma-informed, culturally conscious approach to parenting in the 21st century. Students will explore parenting styles, emotional intelligence, child development, and behavior through both personal reflection and practical frameworks like the Parenting SWOT Workshop™, The Calm Communication Model™, and The Parenting Peace Plan™.
Whether you’re raising a child now or preparing to support families as an educator, therapist, coach, or social worker, this course will guide you in creating your own Parenting Game Plan™, a personalized blueprint grounded in purpose, peace, and connection.
