Course Syllabus
WAPology is the study of the Wellness and Prevention principles and application, as it relates to the female reproductive anatomy. Its purpose is to provide the tools and information to allow women and girls to take ownership of their vaginal and reproductive health.
Objective: By the end of this course, students who have attended and actively participated will have attained basic knowledge of:
- the female reproductive anatomy and its processes
- the factors contributing to the maintenance and disruption of homeostasis (balance) within the reproductive system
- common issues related to the disruption of hormonal and pH balance
- application of Wellness and Prevention practices to prevent and address illnesses and diseases
Class Schedule: This class will be held in two parts, lectures and discussions. Lectures will be recorded and posted for students to attend at a time that fits their academic and personal schedules. All lectures will be posted by 11:59 PM CST on Monday evenings. Discussions will be held on Wednesday evenings from 7-8 PM CST.
Office Hours: Will be determined and posted.
